Home as the New Office-Work from home
Employee demands for flexible schedules and remote work alternatives will become the new normal once social separation measures are withdrawn and firms reopen. Providing flexible work arrangements has become increasingly widespread now that a lot of firms have seen how beneficial telecommuting is for his or her company or how work hours aside from the standard 9-to-5 may be implemented without sacrificing productivity (SHRM, 2021).

ReplyDeleteEmployees may find remote work interesting, but it wouldn't be such a significant trend if employers didn't see the benefits from their side of the desk as well. Work-from-anywhere policies can help businesses increase employee productivity, minimize turnover, and lower expenses (Cook, 2021).
ReplyDeleteIt is interesting to find literatures about this topic. 94 percent of employees surveyed in a Mercer study reported that remote work was either business as usual or better than working in the office, likely because it lacks the distractions, annoyances, and soft abuses that come with co-workers and middle managers.
