Remote Onboarding-Welcoming New Team Members Virtually
Many companies and sectors predicted a year of aggressive recruiting and massive growth in 2021, making the talent battle more challenging than ever. There has never been a better moment for recruiters to get ready for the growing role of technological improvements, particularly artificial intelligence (AI), in making recruiting faster and more efficient (Ahmed, 2020).
COVID-19 limitations have presented new issues for HR teams, and even some of the organizational changes that have resulted are likely to last long after the epidemic has passed. Although contactless hiring is necessary throughout a COVID-19 outbreak, digitalization of finding and onboarding hourly workers may be the new frontier (Muller, 2021).
Considering the bleak economic outlook, many businesses are still recruiting and preparing for expansion as employees work remotely. Businesses cannot afford to put their recruiting procedures on hold if this is the new status quo. Implementing watertight, reliable procedures for effective recruiting, hiring, employing, and onboarding is critical to the organization's long-term performance (Ahmed, 2020).

According to (Lim, 2021) following are the tips for Implementing Contactless Hiring and Onboarding.
·
Create video
interviews as simple as clicking a button.
Some organizations force interviewers to utilize convoluted video chat tools, which typically necessitate the installation of a new app or software on their devices. While this may be good for interviewing for a tech-savvy profession, it might be inconvenient for many others who lack the appropriate equipment or application skills. To address this, make it as simple as possible to log into video interviews. It's better if the applicant doesn't have to download something new
·
Have a system in
place for sending, receiving, and storing virtual information.
Generate customizable PDFs that either you or potential new workers may fill out with a variety of PDF viewers, even on their smartphone, to get online documentation done quickly.
·
To onboard, use
online tutorials.
The goal of virtual onboarding is to create and distribute high-quality training films to company new workers. Though there is no substitute for hands-on instruction in person, tutorial videos are frequently the next greatest thing. Creating high-quality training videos is a full-fledged eBook in and of itself.
·
Quickly establish
communication and a sense of belonging.
Maintain good relationships lines of contact with new hires as soon as possible. This might be a Slack channel even during the workday, or you could offer "office hours" if they have any queries when they begin.
